Mortuary Science
The Mortuary Science Program is one of three programs whose overall mission is to educate individuals in professional disciplines of Mortuary Science, Pathologists' Assistant and Forensic Investigation through high quality educational exposures in classroom didactics, practicum, internships, and clinical experiential.
We are dedicated to provide learning and teaching environment of the highest academic standards and instill academic and professional excellence.
Disciplines within the program are recognized nationally for quality in the development of highly competent professionals and practitioners who exceed standards of professional practice.

The annual passage rate of first-time takers on the National Board Examination (NBE) f:or the most recent three-year period for this institution and all ABFSE accredited funeral service education programs is posted on the ABFSE website (www.abfse.org). As part of admission requirements and the application process to professional programs within Fundamental and Applied Sciences (Mortuary Science, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Pathologists’ Assistant, and the Post-Bachelor Forensic Investigation), all applicants must attend a minimum of one monthly Information Meeting at the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences within one year of formal application to specific programs of choice.
